Thanksgiving 2002
The Book of Ruth is our experimental precursor to a few other biblical texts we want to print in the future: Ecclesiastes and Proverbs, and perhaps someday Psalms. For now, Ruth is set up by hand in Lutetia italic with roman capitals and small caps. The text is accompanied by wood engravings by Ladislav Hanka. The binding, done in-house, is a long stitch in hand made flax papercase from Cave paper; the endsheets are also hand made. The volume measures approximately 4 5/8" x 7" with ample margins. As with each edition, 10 copies are reserved unbound by the press and 5 bound copies will be reserved for the press archive.
